As an HPE Technology Partner, NAKIVO ensures compatibility of the solution with HPE devices and the HPE StoreOnce Catalyst protocol. Choose the special repository for deduplication appliances to optimize the deduplication process and reach better performance. Then select HPE StoreOnce Catalyst from the list of supported deduplication devices, choose the connection type (IP or Fibre Channel) and run your first source-side deduplicated backup.

One Product For All Workloads

There is no need to juggle between separate software for HPE storage systems and your other onsite or cloud storage destinations. NAKIVO offers a centralized web interface from which you can manage all your workloads and backup storage, be it onsite, offsite or in the cloud. NAKIVO’s solution allows you to protect and send offsite virtual, physical, cloud environments, NAS data and Microsoft 365 from a single pane of glass.

Storage Space Savings

HPE StoreOnce Catalyst enables source-side backup deduplication to ensure that only unique data blocks are transferred. Smaller backups help optimize the storage you already have and save on storage costs.

To save storage space even more, use incremental backups and transfer only data that has changed since the last backup. For this, the NAKIVO solution uses native change tracking technologies of VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV and Proxmox VE.

Non-Disruptive Data Protection

Smaller backup size allows you to minimize the impact on your production and ensure uninterrupted business operations. The source-side deduplication occurs at the source server before data is transferred over LAN. This requires much less bandwidth than backups using target-side deduplication.

For more granular control over the network load, you can configure bandwidth throttling and set limits on how much bandwidth data protection workflows can use.

End-to-End Encryption

Ensure that your backup data is secure against data breaches and unauthorized access. With the NAKIVO solution, you can encrypt backups at the source, before transferring data over the network, or encrypt the network or storage.

You can also configure role-based access to the NAKIVO solution to minimize the number of users with full access to your data protection workflows.
