Workflow Diversity

Use native change tracking for backups and replications of VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Nutanix AHV and Proxmox VE VMs. For other workloads NAKIVO Backup & Replication uses a proprietary method by scanning data to find changed blocks.

Instant Change Tracking

NAKIVO Backup & Replication leverages native technologies that automatically record data changes to log files. This enables the solution to instantly identify changed blocks, eliminating the need for full-machine scans and speeding up backup, replication and recovery.

Supported native technologies: Changed Block Tracking (CBT) for VMware vSphere, Dirty Bitmap CBT for Proxmox VE, Resilient Change Tracking (RCT) for Microsoft Hyper-V and Changed Regions Tracking (CRT) for Nutanix AHV.

Log Verification

Prevent overstated change data for VMware vSphere and Nutanix AHV VMs by enabling NAKIVO’s proprietary change tracking as an optional verification layer. While slower, the proprietary method ensures greater accuracy than CBT or CRT alone.
